Hi there,

I’m John. I have been a Truck School Trainer for the past 3 years, teaching Heavy Rigid (HR), Heavy Combination (HC), and B-Double licences. I have 32 years of experience in driving trucks whether it’s Interstate, Local or time spent driving Road Trains FIFO. I am always learning. My Dad was a Trucker his whole working life. He loved driving! Drove B-Doubles until he passed away at age 72. My son and daughter can also drive.
I became a Trainer/Assessor for Truck Driving Licences because I have a passion for the Trucking Industry and also a passion to teach drivers correctly. Not always do you get Trainers that have actual Trucking Industry experience or years of truck driving experience behind them.
While being a Trainer I have really refined the teaching of Crash Box. I get a personal satisfaction out of watching my students master the Crash Box! I take pride in my students. Starting my own Truck Driving School on the Gold Coast was a huge step for me.
My personal aim is to teach HR Crash Box to students to a very high standard and to give tips and knowledge of the Truck Industry.
